About him: The best knowledge of the Jazziest language and the capacity to make all the phrases able too to be sang in a lyric way.

 About her: Linda’s voice is certainly among the most particular, intense from the Italian way of singing.

We have the occasion to listen to her in a large repertory as jazz in which she can express herself in a total freedom and personality, following the sound.

This result is extremely stimulating for the band of Samuele Garofoli.

Typically Jazz, that band moves between tradition and innovation, with a list of standards and original compositions. They have made a record in the past years, building their feeling and trust from the concerts and the life together.

The Linda’s blue’s Soul is her way to express her deep essence talking with the lyric of the Samuel Garofoli’s trumpet underlined by a powerful and delicate rhythmical sound.

She is performing with Emilio Marinelli, pianist, Gabriel Pesaresi, contrabassist and Massimo Manzi with is incredible drums!

It would be enough to say that he has been playing with Pat Metheny and has made many recording sessions and concerts with great internationals musicians: (M. Goodrick, U. Green, Al Grey, S. Fortune, B. Gertz, H. Gualdi, Pat Martino, Sal Nistico, R. Marcotulli, T. Scott etc…).

 

Samuele Garofoli, Trumpet.

Student of Paolo Fresù and Enrico Rava, he has been working with the National Young Orchestra of Jazz and inside of the Jazz Marche Orchestra conducted by Bruno Tommaso.

He has collaborated with: Gegè Telesforo, Augusto Mancinelli, Paolino Dalla Porta, Steve Lacy, Ramberto Ciammarughi, Kenny Wheeler and so many others.

 

Emilio Marinelli, Pianist.

He studied with Ramberto Ciammarughi, and collaborated with the famous drumer,Giulio Capiozzo, in the AREA(Ethnic Project) near by :Cameron Brown  and Enrico Rava. He participated to the Italian tour of Sherman Irby and also worked with the Jestofunk.

 

 

Gabriele Pesaresi,Contrabassist

Has been studying with Paolino Dalla Prota, Furio Di Castri, Paolo Ghetti, Jack Walrath, Maurizio Giammarco, Danilo Rea ; he is actually playing with several musical formations : Manzi-Garofoli Quintet « Colours Jazz Orchestra », Claudio Filippini Quartet, etc…and performed with; Enrico Rava, Gianni Basso, Renato Sellani, Fabrizio Bosso, Massimo Manzi and so many others…

Soul vibrations and such energy for one of the most beautiful voices of Italy.

 

Her voice, powerful and shiny, is very intense and made already turned all over the world.

From her success at the third place of the “Festival of Sanremo” in 2004, with a song called” Aria sole e mare”, Linda couldn’t stop and she kept going on, on her way, winning new important challenges.

She performed in USA, in New York and Atlantic City. She’s got a first prime at the “International Festival of Megahit” in Turkey, and she affronted 22 countries at the” Cerbul de Aur”, in Romania.

Incredible will remain, her exhibitions in front of the two Popes: John-Paul II and Benoit XVI.

Then, she’s collaborated to the “International Day of the Youth” in Bari, Loreto and Colonia.

In the same time she got the best prime in Assize during the” Young Artist for the Peace”.

The year 2005 has been very important to her, pushing her in the middle of the Cinema’s world and Discography too. She participated to the Musical Reality Show; “Music Farm»,on the Rai 2.

With so much emotion she saw her first LP come out, “La forma delle nuvole”, inside of which she can be proud to see the intervention of great Artists like; the famous guitar player,  Scott Henderson, the Hamonica of Tollak and Gary Barlow, writer of the “Take That” and the “Blue”.

In May of that same year she has been the protagonist in the “Messa Umilis” in Lyric Version at the Castle Gandolfo.

An other great meeting was the coming out of the first Cartoon completely produced by the “Walt Disney”, called» Chicken Little”, inside of which Linda sang the central theme “Muoviti”; the English version has been recorded by Patti LaBelle and Joss Stone.

The” Disney” House had chosen Linda because of her special voice among the Italian talents, so rich of soul and black colours, reminding the best overseas singers.

In the 2007, she met a magic Italian singer: Massimo Ranieri, and the recorded the song “Se bruciasse la città ” inside of this Neapolitan song-writer’s LP.

This collaboration sent them to the TV Show of Rai 1, where she stayed as a permanent guest.

Actually, she is working at the realisation of her new Album conducted by the Chief Orchestra Maurizio Fabrizio.

This is in the live way she feels better to express her natural feelings. She gives emotions to the audience with her deep blues and jazzy voice.

She is so versatile in her way of applying voice and electronic sounds, that she is able to perform with different kind of band: the classic band or an acoustic band and also an orchestra of arches, created with only women! All this for a Concert full of intensity!
